A Limestone County man convicted of trying to kill his ex-girlfriend and kidnap her two roommates, along with six other charges, during a 2015 crime spree in Alabama and Tennessee will be sentenced April 16.

Casey Cole White, 35, of Tanner, will be sentenced at 9 a.m. in Circuit Judge Robert Baker's courtroom at the Limestone County Courthouse in Athens.

White is facing 20 years to life in prison.

Once sentenced here, White will be sent to Giles County, to face charges related to the same 2015 incident. After attacking his former girlfriend and her roommates in Limestone County, White drove to Tennessee, committed more crimes, including a shooting, then returned to Limestone County via a 120-mph chase by law enforcement officials.

A Limestone County jury convicted White last week of attempted murder, two counts of kidnapping, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, breaking and entering a vehicle, animal cruelty for shooting a dog and attempting to elude.
