Local artists hope the community will buy local handmade holiday gifts this year.

The benefits of spending your money on locally crafted products are endless.

There's a lot of options when purchasing gifts from local artisans and some think handmade gifts make for a better gift exchange.

There will be a "Christmas Is Coming" craft and bake sale on Friday at the Giles County Court House.  This event will take place from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
