The work involves placing raised pavement markers. Work may resume between 6 p.m. and midnight if not completed during the day.

Pavement markers, or reflectors, will be placed on the center line and gores, the triangular spaces at exit ramps, throughout this 12.4-mile section of I-65, which is undergoing a $15.3 million resurfacing project.

The raised pavement markers will improve visibility and lane delineation until resurfacing resumes in the spring.

This will be a moving operation. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be on the lookout for workers.
