A residential subcontractor was arrested Saturday after allegedly returning to a home under construction two weeks after leaving his work unfinished. Deputies say he broke into the locked residence to retrieve his tools and cut out copper wiring, damaging the home.

Kenneth Shane Strong, 26, of Ardmore is charged with first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree burglary, possession of burglar’s tools, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released from the Limestone County Jail Monday on $8,500 bond.
