The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting safety belt and sobriety roadside safety checkpoints on Friday October 26 on highway 11 at the 13 mile marker and Saturday October 27 on highway 31 at the 14 mile marker in Giles county.

The THP recognizes the danger of impaired driving and drivers who operate a vehicle while unbelted, and take corrective action for other violations overserved.

The THP recognizes these safety checkpoints are a highly visible and effective way of enforcing the safety belt laws and enforcing the laws against impaired driving in the state of Tennessee.
