The Giles County Sheriff’s Department will be participating in a Drug Take Back event to be held Saturday October 27 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Fred’s Pharmacy at 1676 West College St. in Pulaski.

When your medicines are no longer needed, they should be disposed of promptly.

Consumers and caregivers should remove expired, unwanted, or unused medicines from their home as quickly as possible to help reduce the chance that others accidentally take or intentionally misuse the medicine.

If you are unable to attend this Drug Take Back event the Sheriff’s office has a pill take back container in the lobby that is open from 7:00 am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday.

Just bring your unwanted medication and drop them in the container located in the Sheriff’s Dept. lobby at 200 Thomas Gatlin Dr. and they will be disposed of according to law with no questions asked.
