The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct a driver’s license roadside safety checkpoint on October 21 from 11:00am-12:00noon on highway 31 south at the 14 mile marker in Giles County.

The THP recognizes the danger presented to the public by unqualified drivers. Troopers will concentrate their efforts on vehicles operated by drivers who violate the driver’s laws of Tennessee.

The Highway Patrol has found these roadside checkpoints to be an effective means of enforcing the laws of the state, and ensuring the protection of all motorists.
