GILES COUNTY, Tenn. - Friday Night Lights wrapped up this past Friday with both Richland and Giles County losing in the third round of TSSAA Football Playoffs.
For Richland, they left everything on the field with a close 24-21 loss to McKenzie. The game came down to a game winning field goal for McKenzie as time expired. The Raiders finish the year as one of the Top 8 1-A teams in the state.
For Giles County, turnovers were their nemesis in Chattanooga as they lost to Tyner Academy 34-20. Giles County finished the season as one of the top 8 3-A teams in the state.
