PULASKI, Tenn. - It's time for the annual Independence Day celebration. The City of Pulaski and Parks & Recreation Department would like to invite you to the 2025 Freedom Fest.

On Tuesday, July 1st at Sharewood Park Amphitheater we will gather as a community to honor those who have relentlessly sacrificed, bravely fought for and continue to pursue the freedom that you and I enjoy every day as citizens of the United States of America.

There is NO ADMISSION FEE to attend. Sharewood Park will open for foot traffic with Vendors ready to serve you at 4pm.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, neighbors and friends to gather as the events of the evening unfold. The stage will open at 5:00P.M.

Special Guests & Entertainment this year will be Shadywood followed by The Entice Band. They will all be ready to take us throughout the evening with songs that all ages can sing and dance along to!

The Fireworks are set to begin at 9pm, with possible delays dependent on the weather. Don’t forget you will be able to tune in to WKSR to hear the soundtrack designed and set to begin just as the first color burst hits the sky!

As in years past, we will have our drop-off roundabout entering and exiting from E College Street into The Recreation Center. Drop-offs will begin at 4P.M. and will be directed by our local Pulaski Police Department.

Parking is open and available at all our other surrounding parks and this year we will have ADA Shuttle transportation from the CB Ministry Outreach Building on S First Street from 4:30P.M. until 7:30P.M. Those needing to use the shuttle services should park and wait in the designated area for the carts to arrive and provide transportation to Sharewood Park. Following the fireworks, return trips to the CB Ministry Outreach Building will begin at 9:30P.M. from the designated drop off/return shuttle service area.

When parking on side streets, please adhere to traffic laws and do not block private driveways. The detonation location for Pyro Shows will once again be located just off Sheila Frost Drive. For this reason, all the parking areas surrounding Giles County High School will be inaccessible during this year’s set-up and during the event.  The Pulaski Police Department, Pulaski Fire Department and the Giles County Fire & Rescue Volunteers will once again assist in establishment of the required “safety zone”, along with other local EMA, EMR & EMS staff. Please be aware of the following road closures.

At 2:30P.M., the following road will be closed:

*Sheila Frost from Vertafore to Magazine Road

At 4:00P.M., the following roads will be closed to vehicle traffic:

*Sheila Frost from Hwy 31 to Magazine will be closed
