Billy Wayne Ward died Saturday at Maury Regional Hospital. He was born in Pulaski and was 79 years old.

He was a retired veteran of the United States Army, and a member of Second Street Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.

Services will follow Thursday at 6:00pm in the Chapel of the funeral Home with full military honors.

He is survived by his, Wife, Lucy Ward of Pulaski, Son Michael and wife Kim Bellusci of Virginia, Daughters, Donna and husband Mike Edwards of Alabama, Patricia Baker of Pulaski, Sons, Don and wife Dawn Ward of Alaska, Lyndon and wife Robin Ward of Florida, Step-sons, Junic and wife Debbie Archer of Nevada, Wesley and wife Jocelyn Archer of New York, Step-daughters, Pamela Cunningham and Deanna Archer of Tennessee, 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, Brothers, Joe and wife Marie Ward of Nolensville and Lynn and wife Sylvia Ward of Knoxville also survive.
