Frances Inez Miles Shay died Tuesday afternoon at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was born in Giles County and was 92 years old. She was retired from the Lee Mar Shirt Factory. She taught Sunday school at Trinity United Methodist for 60 years.

Visitation will be 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock Thursday,  at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be 11:00am Friday in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral home with Debbie Eubanks officiating.

The burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Shay of Nashville and Sharon Shay of Pulaski.

One brother , Larry Paul Miles of Lyles, TN.

One grandchild and five great grandchildren also survive.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.
