Johnny Wayne Ratliff, age 75, of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, at VA Medical Center in Nashville.  He was a native of Lawrence County, retired from Lorik Tools, and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, choir member, and a Sunday school teacher, he was also in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era and a member of the Tennessee National Guard.   

Survivors include his wife, Juvy Jalalon Ratliff of Lawrenceburg, children, John M. Ratliff III and wife Bridget of the Bodenham Community, Wendy Ratliff of Columbia, and Timothy Wayne Ratliff and wife Michelle of Lawrenceburg, five step-children, Jed, Aubrey, Jet, Angel, and Jalen, thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00pm Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. 

Services will be at Mars Hill Baptist Church at 11:00am Thursday, March 28th, 2024, with Mickey Brackin and Jeff Overton officiating. 

Burial will be in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, with full military honors. 

The family suggests memorials be made to the Mars Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.

Neal Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Johnny Wayne Ratliff.
