Theodore G. Loftis, Sr., age 72 of Hendersonville, died November 5th, 2023. He was born in Nashville, and obtained his Emergency Medical Technician license from Volunteer State Community College in 1975, and graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in 1980. He was law enforcement officer.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Loftis, children, Cindy Loftis Allen and husband Matt, Christy Loftis, Theodore G. Loftis, Jr. and wife Hope, Ashley Loftis Nolan and husband Shane, Ashley Carter, Matthew Carter, and Jamie Buchanan, 11 grandchildren, sisters, Tammy Creasy and Neina Loftis, and several nieces, a nephew, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 10th, 2023 at Long Hollow Church in Hendersonville.

Burial will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, November 9th, 2023 from 3:00 until 8:00pm at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside and again Friday from 10:00am until 11am at the church.
