Shamus Omar Birdsong died Sunday, July 16th, 2023. He was educated in Giles County Schools, and a member of St. James Primitive Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday, July 24th, 2023 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Services will be Monday, July 24th, 2023 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Survivors include his mother Pamela Suzette Birdsong-Martin of Pulaski, father Dennis Abernathy of Pulaski, fiancée Gabrielle Michelle Barnett of Pulaski, son Shamar James Birdsong of Pulaski, sisters, Quinita Reynolds of Smyrna, and Adrienne Jenkins of Pulaski, brothers, DiMayo Lamar Birdsong of Pulaski, and Eric Abernathy of Murfreesboro, A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, other family members and friends also survive.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Shamus Omar Birdsong.
