Darryl Brian Sheets of Lynnville died Monday at his home. He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan and was 60 years old.

He was a U.S Marine veteran and was retired as former owner of Sheets Collision.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lucille Archer Sheets; and son, Michael Sheets.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Nolan Sheets of Lynnville; step-daughters: Timberly Jenkins and husband Chris of Vanleer, Carolyn Newton and husband Charles of Lyles, Codi Kimble and husband Jimmy of Cornersville, Rusti Jenkins and husband Jordan of Ethridge, and Vaquera Jenkins of Lynnville; sister, Debra Sheets Slone and husband Tim of Columbia; brother, Doug Sheets and wife Sharon of Ypsilanti; 8 grandchildren; and other family members
