Ollie Roland, of Ardmore, died Sunday at Huntsville Hospital.

He lived in the Ardmore area most all his life and was a member of Community Baptist Church of Ardmore. He was a jeweler in Huntsville and in Ardmore.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Upshaw Roland and Mea Wallace Roland; 2 brothers: Clifford Roland and Charles Roland; and 2 sisters: Christine Hogan and Josephine Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, D. Polly Roland of Ardmore; sisters: Julia Hargrove of Clarksville, and Rebecca Brock of Ardmore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
