Bobbie Leroy Woodson of Campbellsville died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Nashville and was 84 years old.

He was a carpenter and builder for many years in Giles County, was a United States Air Force Veteran and of the Methodist faith.

He is preceded in death by his, mother, Hattie Hayes Woodson; his wife, Sondra Story Woodson; son, Bobbie Stephen Woodson and grandson, Phillip Stephen Wicks.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a memorial service following at 1 o'clock at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with full military honors.

Survivors include his daughters: Donna Appleton of Pulaski and Cindy Ead and husband Doug of Prospect; his brothers: George Jones Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Charles Ray Jones of Franklin and Billy Wayne Hinton of Mt. Pleasant; and sister, Barbara Ann Meineckie of Arizona; sister-in-law, Debbie Supernaugh Anderson of Lexington; brothers-in-law: Timothy Story and Carl Story, both of Florida; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and great- nieces, nephews also survive.
