John William (Bill) Sandridge died Sept. 28. He was born in Pulaski and was 70 years old.

He was a retired paramedic and school teacher, served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and a member of NRA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Maurice and Avis Marie Burch Sandridge.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m., Friday with funeral services following at 1 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Surviving are his brother, LaVern (Casey) Mack and wife Denise of Detroit; special friend and care giver, Gloria Ussery of Ardmore; 3 nephews; 1 grand niece; and 4 grand nephews.
