Delya Dalton West “Mama Red” age 92 passed away at her home in Goodspring, TN Saturday March 7th 2020. Born on August 28th 1927 in Limestone County, AL and she was a Great Wife, Mother, and Friend.
Delya is survived by Husband that she spent 45 happy years RB West of Goodspring, TN. Sons, Jimmy Dale Brown and wife Judy of Athens, AL, Ted Allen Brown and wife Ruby of Jackson, and Carl West and wife Eddie Ruth of Pulaski, AL. Daughters, Priscilla J. Bell of Madison, AL, Sandra Toon and Husband James of Goodspring, TN. Brother, J.D. Ferrell of Athens, AL. And several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday March 8, 2020 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Funeral will be the following Monday March 9th, 2020 at 2 p.m. also at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Burial following at Maplewood Cemetery.
Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
