Dewey Douglas Daniel of Pulaski passed away Thursday evening, February 20th, 2020, at NHC of Pulaski surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 9th, 1945 in Pulaski     Tennessee and was 75 years old.

He loved his family, hunting, fishing. He was a Tennessee Vols and a New York Yankee fan, and loved  working with cattle.  He retired after 35 years with Heil Quaker/Inter City Products and was in the United States Army National Guard.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 23rd  from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be on Monday, February 24th at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Home with Greg Morris and Tony Orr officiating.

The burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin Luther Bates and Annie Elizabeth Woodard Daniel, brothers, Morris, Robert and Lonnie Daniel, sisters, Elizabeth Gulley, Bertha Pregnar, Mildred Weldon and Margaret Morris, son, James Kenneth Bryant, grandson, Gregory Lance Daniel and his first wife, Gwendolyn Brewer Daniel.

He is survived by his

Son, Jimmy Daniel of Pulaski

Son, Greg (Theresa) Daniel of Woodbury, TN

Daughter, Sherrie (Tony) Orr of Pulaski

Daughter, Audra Hughes (Scott Waters) of Pulaski

Sister, Fannie (Joe) Furlano of New York

Brother, Paul (Dolly) Daniel of Southern Pines, NC

Brother, Charles Daniel of Pulaski

4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren

Several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends also survive.
