Brenda Kay Appleton passed away Wednesday evening, February 19th, peacefully at her home in Giles County surrounded by family. She was born on November 10th, 1950 in Fayetteville, Tennessee and was 69 years old.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to spend time over meals with her family. She was a member of the Elkwood Holiness Church. Branda loved to dance and loved her flowers.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 Saturday, February 22nd, 2020, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will be 1:00pm, Sunday, February 23rd, 2020, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents Thurman and Zuma Johnson Reeves. Husband Jackey Massey along with her son Michael Massey.
She is survived by,
Husband, Lonnie Appleton of Elkton, Tennessee.
Daughter, Serina Luna of Elkton, Tennessee.
Daughter, Selena McCreary of Pisgah, Alabama.
Step-daughter, Jennifer Dod of Pulaski.
Step-son, Jeff Appleton of Pulaski.
12 Grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive.
