Earl Junior Akers of Pulaski passed away on February 17th, 2020 at his home in Giles County. He was born in Richwood, West Virginia on August 5th, 1952 and was 67 years old.

He Loved his family, He was a United States Marine, served in the Vietnam War and worked on the presidential Helo.  He was a horse farrier and loved going coon hunting.

A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, February 29th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at the Pouring Spot, 200 East Jefferson Street, Pulaski, TN.

He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Louise Akers along with his parents, Earl Denzil and Mary Ellen Flanagan Akers.

He is survived by his;

Daughter, Christina (Derek) Shaver of West Virginia.

Son, Clinton Kennedy of Florida.

Grandchildren, Fox Viers, Rebekah Shaver and Samuel Shaver.

Sister, Margaret Blake of West Virginia.

Sister, Charlotte Boggs of Michigan.

Sister, Donna (Homer) Scott of West Virginia.

Brother, David Akers of Michigan.

Brother, Carl (Roseanna) Akers of Florida.

Brother, Dale Akers of West Virginia.

Brother, Bill (Mindy)Akers of West Virginia.        

Several nephews, nieces and friends also survive.
