William Harwell "Bill" Murrey, Jr. of Pulaski died Monday at his home in Pulaski. He was born in Memphis and was 60 years old.


Bill was a graduate of Giles County High School and Martin Methodist College. He was an Eagle Scout. He was retired from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, and a member of the First United Methodist Church.


Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Pulaski with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm.


Survivors include his wife, Callie Morris Murrey, parents Dr. Harwell and Jane Cary Murrey, brothers Dr. Mark Murrey and wife Maloo of North Carolina and Dr. Dan Murrey and wife Katie of North Carolina, sisters Cary Brimm and husband Jack of Brentwood and Margaret DiNella of Birmingham. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends also survive.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Methodist Men's Club at First United Methodist Church, 200 W Jefferson St, Pulaski, TN 38478 or to the Giles County High School Booster Club, 200 Sheila Frost Dr, Pulaski, TN 38478 .
