John Carl Elliott, Sr., age 89, died on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in St. Thomas West, Nashville, TN.

He was born in South Bend, Indiana, on June 12, 1930, retired business owner as founder and owner of John’s Lock & Key Service Inc., in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for 30 years before retiring to Pulaski, where he stayed very active in many organizations. He loved riding his motorcycle with Frances.  After 16 years serving as magistrate in Giles County, he fully retired to take care of the love of his life, Frances.  He enlisted into the Army Air Corp and was  discharged from the Air Force in 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan James and Gazela Koseck Elliott, wife, Frances Elliott, sister, Paula Alder and brother, Sonny Elliott.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020, at 2PM at the Giles Memory Gardens.

Survivors are:  son, John C. Elliott, Jr. and Mary of Conyers, GA, grandsons, Patrick and Nikki Elliott of Topeka, KS, Christopher Elliott of Savannah, GA, great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Abbie, Paisley and Ava Elliott.
