Jacqueline A. Stephen of Pulaski passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Pulaski. She was born in Mare Island, California on May 10, 1949 and was 70 years old. Jackie left behind her husband, Alex Stephen, mother, Arden Wetzler, brothers, Mike and Terry Wetzler, and sisters, Patti Arnold and Sherry.

Jackie was the daughter of a career navy veteran, Jack Wetzler, and the wife of a career air force veteran, Alex Stephen. Her homes were always a transit point in her life. Her marriage to husband, Alex lasted almost 51 years. In 2019 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Legion in Pulaski. Jackie will be missed by all who knew her for her kind and thoughtful nature. She would provide words and deeds to ease others pain, and be more concerned of other’s pains, than her own. Thanking God for allowing Jackie into and sharing our life together. The last saying Jackie wrote to her husband was a quote, “In the history of the world no one has been loved as much as you by me.” Jackie’s lover for animals defined her. All of her pets were rescues, or strays that showed up at her house. Jackie had as many as 9 animal companions to feed and care for at one time. Jackie wouldn’t even consume “Anything that has a face” and was a vegetarian for life.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 10th from 11:00am at Providence Church of Christ with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
