Pastor Kenneth Duke died Thursday. He worked at Jack’s Cookie Company for many years before retiring from Maggoteaux. He would serve at Willow Grove for 9 years, as Moderator of the Greater Richland Creek MB Association for a year, and as Pastor of Happy Hill MB Church in 2010 until his death.


Visitation will be 9:30 to 11:00 this morning (Monday) at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.


Services will follow at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.


Burial will be in the Everbright Cemetery in Lynnville.


Survivors include his wife, Catherine Johnson Duke, children, Brenda and husband Ken Dangerfield, Rev. Kenneth L. and wife Angela Duke, Gayle Elaine Duke, Rev. Timothy L. and wife Tarissa Duke, and Rev. Marcus K. and wife Shannon Duke. Nine Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren; Five brothers, Nathaniel and wife Darlene Coleman, William Albert Coleman, and, Michael and wife DeDe Coleman in Pulaski, Larry Coleman and wife Divita of Washington and Charles Coleman of Iowa, sisters, Rose Mary Brown of Louisville, and Adrienne and husband Stacy Braden of Iowa, Jean Ann and husband Greg Cane of Indiana, several other family members and friends also survive.
