Howard Bennett “Bully” Farrar, age 78, died Saturday. He was born in Lynnville, and retired as a maintenance man for Heil Quaker.

Survivors include his wife, Martha “Mot” McCormick Farrar of Lynnville, son, Johnny Farrar and wife Robin of Lynnville, daughter, Penny Warren and husband Jeff of Odd Fellows Hall, step-daughter, Traci Lovell of Cookeville, brother, Leonard Farrar and wife Juanita of Brick Church, 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. today (Monday) at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with the burial to follow in Giles Memory Gardens.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, 201 Alumni Hall, 2201 West End Ave., Nashville, TN 37203-9977.
