Ann Jackson Roberts, age 82, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.

She was born on November 11, 1937 to the late Stonewall Jackson and Ellen Isabella Sills but was raised by her grandparents, Robert Raymond Jackson and Emma Lee Wright.  She worked and retired after 36 years from Maremont Gabriel in 1999 and was a member of the Church of Christ (baptized at the age of 12 and also recently at the age of 82). She loved her family, flowers, Stargazer lilies, and cooking for others.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Burks Holden and husband Larry of Rogersville, AL, her half-brother, Stoney Jackson and Gladys of Minor Hill, TN, her grandson, Chad Townsend and wife Tina, her granddaughter, Sabrina Reynolds, her great grandson, CJ Townsend, her great granddaughter, Shelby Townsend, her great-great granddaughter, Addison Jules Melton, her step granddaughter, Ashley Moss and husband Eli, her great grandchildren, Kylee, Emileigh, and Lylah Moss, her step grandson, Twain Holden and wife Kelly, and 4 of her step great grandchildren, Christian Holden, Destiny Holden, Malorey Holden, and Morgan Holden.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where the Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. The burial will follow in Minor Hill Cemetery.
