Bertha Mae Gilliam of Pulaski passed away at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.  She was born in Alabama on March 24, 1929 and was 90 years old.

Mrs. Gilliam loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers.  She was of the Church of Christ faith, loved to read and listen to bluegrass music.

A memorial service will be at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alice Burchell White, sisters, Mary Ola White and Alice Hughes and several brothers.

She is survived by her

Husband James H. Gilliam of Pulaski

Son, Wayne (Marie) Gilliam of Shelbyville

Son, James Gilliam of New Jersey

4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren

Sister, Louise White of Pulaski

Several nephews and nieces and friends also survive.
