Terry Ray “Pee Wee” Staggs, age 65, a resident of Lynnville, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Pulaski.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 1PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Swango officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Freedom in Maury Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by the United States Army. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 3-7PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 7, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois, Terry was the son of the late Sewella “Pee Wee” & Juanita Staggs and the late Ruth Spears Brown. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Martin Methodist College in Pulaski. He served his country in the United States Army during two foreign wars. He loved serving in the military and was 100% retired after nearly twenty years. Terry married Sun Cha “Sunshine” Kim on December 23, 1976 and together they had one son. Terry was very active in the seeing eye dog service. He was a fan of John Wayne and Johnny Cash.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Terry (Colleen) Staggs, Jr. of College Grove; brothers: Danny (Lisa) Staggs, William “Gene” (Angie) Staggs, Jerry (Tina) Staggs; sister, Stephanie Baker; and grandchildren: Adelaide Staggs and Anderson Staggs.
