Doris Powell 81 of Petersburg, passed away Monday December 16, 2019. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 19, 2019 at Lynchburg Funeral Home at 2 P.M. Bro. Jackie Riddle will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickory Hill Church Cemetery on Foster Hollow Rd. in Petersburg. Visitation will be Wednesday 4 to 7 pm at Lynchburg Funeral Home.
Doris retired from Jack Daniels after 34 years of service. She was a lifelong member of Hickory Hill Upper Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her father: Ernest Dupree Keel, mother: Bertie Mae Warden,
Husband: Billie W. Powell, son: Billie Gerald Powell, brother: Doyle Dupree Keel.
She is survived by daughter-in-law: Linda Powell Batten

Bryan “Beaver” (Hannah) Powell
