Margaret Elizabeth Loyd died Sunday at NHC in Lawrenceburg. She was born in Pulaski and was 88 years old.

She retired from Dobbs House in Birmingham, Alabama, as a flight kitchen worker and was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Gay 90s Club.

she was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie Neal and Eunice Rackley Loyd; brothers: Gene Loyd, Charles Loyd, Robert Loyd and Harold Loyd; sister, Dorothy Andrews; and niece, Carol Ann May.

Visitation will be held noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow visitation Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Memorial donations are suggested to Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, in care of Linda Holt, 175 Ray Holt Road, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478.

Survivors include her sisters: Jane Loyd Burton and Barbara Loyd Surles and husband James; and several nieces and a nephew.
