Lynnville native and former Mayor, Frances Hewitt, died in Monteagle after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. A graduate of Jones High School, in 1985 "Miss Frances" became the first female Mayor in Giles County.

A celebration of life service will be held at Lynnville United Methodist Church, Sunday.

Visitation from 3:00pm until 5:00 and the service at 5:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to Lynnwood Cemetery and Lynnville Methodist Church.
