Helen Holland Burton of Pulaski, TN passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski. She was born in Blanche, TN on May 3, 1926 and was 93 years old.

She was an elementary school teacher in Giles County for 41 years, and a member of the Brick Church Presbyterian Church. She loved going to horseshows sitting on the porch in her favorite swing, playing cards and was an excellent cook.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Funeral Service will take place on Monday, November 11th, 2019 at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Milton Nesbit and Richard Upton Officiating.

Burial will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Chandler Burton, Sr., parents, Jim Newman and Thelma Holland, and sisters, Jo Hunter and Annette Peterson.

She is survived by her,

Son, Philip Chandler (Debby) Burton, Jr. of Pulaski

Grandson, Tony (Donna) Burton of Cornersville

Grandson, Jeffrey (Audra) Burton of Cornersville

4 great grandchildren

8 great great grandchildren

Several nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives also survive.
