Mildred Marie Carvell Parker, age 97 of Pulaski passed away October 26, 2019. Mildred was born on September 30, 1922 to the late Grady Dean and Nina Marie Ashton Carvell. She worked at General Shoe making Combat Boots for the soldiers and then in the 70’s she managed Arnold’s Music Center. She was a founding member of the Fairview Church of Christ and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W. Post 4577. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Victor Hugo “Tiney” Parker, and her great grandson, William Dean Townsend.

Survivors include her daughters, Judith Eubank and husband Steve and Brenda Parker Hooie, and her brother, Terry Dean Carvell and wife Martha, all of Pulaski, her granddaughters, Lindsey Hooie Townsend, her husband Bill, and their children, Taylor, Payton, and Knox, and Ashley Eubank Cates, her husband Tripp, and their children, Parker and Adeleine, her nephews, Jeffrey Carvell and wife Jackie, keith Carvell and wife Glenda, and Allen Parker and wife Rita, and her neice, Carol Carvell.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2019. Burial to follow at Giles Memory Gardens.
