Jerry Douglas Wheeler, 76, of Cape Coral, Florida died at his residence. He was born in Pulaski, was a retired computer systems technician and attended Martin Methodist College. He also served in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include a grandson, sister Sandra W. Horne and husband “Rusty” Horne, brother James Terry Wheeler and wife Peggy, several other family members and friends survive, along with step-children, Sharla Griffith and husband Glen and Keith Morgan.

Graveside services with military honors and celebration of his life will be held at 11a.m. Saturday at Maplewood Cemetery.
