Shaydena “Shay” Michelle Bonwell passed away Sunday evening, October 13, 2019 at Vanderbilt Hospital.  She was born in Athens, Tn on February 7, 1980 and was 39 years old.

She was a loving wife and mother. She always enjoyed spending time with all her family and friends. She was one who was always funny and kept a smile on her face, and loved Alabama football.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, October17, 2019 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her step father, Bobby J. Johnson

She is survived by her,

Husband, Cameron Tyler Bonwell of Elkmont

 Daughters, Macasa Ballentine and Crimson Bonwell of Elkmont

Mother, Sheila Johnson of Prospect

Sister, Kamesia Witt of Prospect

Brother, Jeremiah Johnson of Prospect.

Mother-in-law, Lisa Bonwell of Pulaski

Several nieces and nephews and one great niece also survive
