Jimmie Wayne Vernon, age 69, died at his home on Wednesday.

He was born in Pulaski, and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Visitation will be on Friday, beginning at 11AM until 12:30PM, then will leave the funeral home at 12:30PM for a graveside service at 1PM on Friday, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Donations are requested to help with funeral expenses.

Survivors include his wife, Priscilla A. Vernon of Goodspring, a son, James R. Vernon of Goodspring, one grandson, two, sisters, Brenda Beecham of Pulaski, and Anecia Vernon of Kentucky.
