Tillman Dawes of the Stella Community, died on Friday, in Southern TN Regional Health System, Pulaski.

He was born in Stella, and worked for the Giles County Highway Dept., and served in the US Navy during World War II.

Visitation will be on Saturday, from 4PM to 7PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at 2PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Stella Cemetery.

Survivors are:  son in law, Bill Dunavant and wife Nancy of Campbellsville, two grandsons, Jake Dunavant and Joseph Dunavant,and one great grandson, Memorials may be made to Stella Cemetery Fund, C/O Sandra Parsons, 2835 Hagan Road, Minor Hill, TN, 38473.
