George Hurst of Huntsville died on June 12. He was born near Pulaski, At age 17, he enlisted in the Air Force and received training in air plane maintenance and electronics.

Survivors include his daughter, Denise Lehman of Madison; son Ken Hurst of Ardmore; two grandchildren; sister, Rose Marie Cartee of Pulaski;. A graveside service will be held today at 1pm at Stella Cemetery in Giles County.
