J.C. McGee died Friday at Maury Regional Medical Center. He was born in the Scotts Hill community and was 81 years old.

A retired truck driver for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Pulaski, Woodmen of the World, Junior Order of Woodmen of the World and charter member of the Giles County Rescue Squad.

Visitation will be tomorrow (Tuesday) 4-9 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shores Memory Gardens.

Survivor include daughter, Pam Hargrove of Pulaski; son, Ricky McGee of the Buford Station community; sister, Sandra Wasson of the Bodenham community; brother, Edward McGee of Mississippi; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
