Thomas Clayton Mitchell died on Sunday,   He was born in Giles County and was 91 years old.

He grew up in the Beech Hill Community and graduated Beech Hill High School and was a longtime member of the Giles County Laity Club and Methodist Men’s Choir.  He also taught youth and adult Sunday school classes for many years. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, at 11:00am in the Chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Pastor, Brandon Bass officiating.

Burial in Giles Memory Gardens.

He is survived by his

Wife of 64 years, Phyllis Mitchell of Pulaski, a sister, Maxie and husband Joe Ward of Nolensville, a brother, William “Bill” and wife Faye Mitchell of Cornersville, one daughter Kathy Henry of Pulaski. two grandchild also survive.
