Mr. Eugene Gardner Sr. of Ardmore died on Thursday.  He was 82 years old.

He is survived by two children. a son, Eugene Gardner Jr. and wife, Beverly, and daughter, Ava Matthews and husband, Billy, two sisters:  Floradine Wilson and husband, Ernest,  and Virginia Armstrong and husband Craig  5 grandchildren:  nine great grandchildren: 

Funeral services will be Tuesday, beginning at 12 noon at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church 949 Dixon town road in Elkton. Burial in union hill cemetery.
