Jimmy Dee Potts died Sunday, at his home in Giles County.  He was born in Williamson County, and was 79 years old.

He served in the Army National Guard.

Visitation will be 12:00 until 1:30 Tuesday, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 2:00pm at the Chapman Cemetery on Little Dry Creek Road.

He is survived by his, wife, Barbara Ranck Potts of Ethridge. A daughter, Deidra Hickman of Lynnville. One Son, Chris Johns of Pulaski. Three Brothers, Calvin Potts and Ronald Potts of Nashville. And Zelbert Potts of Columbia.

Two Grandchildren, and five great grandchildren
