Melvin Opal Barnette, age 90, died Tuesday, in NHC Pulaski.

He was born in Lauderdale County, retired from Maremont Gabriel and farming, and was a member of Booth Chapel Church of Christ,

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, at 10AM until funeral time at 2PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Minor Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Danny Barnette and Mike Barnett and wife Vicki of Minor Hill, a sister, Evelyn Spraggins of Lawrenceburg, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
