John Edward Tinnon, Sr., age 81, died on Sunday, at his home.

He was born in Giles County, retired from Consolidated Packaging and Oakwood Homes, and served in the US Navy,

Visitation will begin at 10AM until 11AM on Wednesday, at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home

A graveside service will be held at 11:30AM, Wednesday, at Giles Memory Garden.

Survivors are:  wife, Norma Jean Tinnon of Milky Way Community, son, John Ashton Tinnon and wife Allyson of Stella Community, daughter, Belinda Tinnon of Milky Way Community, sisters, Frances Roy and husband Dean of Athens, and Carol Barlar of Clarksville, one grandchild, also survives.
