John Paul Jones, age 70, resident of Goodspring, died Saturday at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Donnie Noble officiating.

He worked several jobs with his last job as a route carrier for the US Postal Service for 16 years.

John Paul is survived by a sister, Barbara DiStephano of Goodsring and a several nieces and nephews.
