Charlie Will Thornton, Sr., age 88, died on Thursday. He was retired from Pulaski Rubber Company, and a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 5PM to 8PM on Saturday, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at 3PM, at the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church, visitation from 2PM until funeral time at 3PM, with burial to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife Sue Thornton of Goodspring, a son, Chuck Thornton and wife Amy of Dyer, TN, three daughters, Pam Scott and husband Tim of Goodspring, Renee Chisholm and husband Pat of North Carolina, and Judy Long and husband Tommy of Goodspring, a brother, William Robert and wife Adena Thornton of Lawrenceburg.  

Seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
