T. David Johnson, Sr. of Pulaski died on Friday. He was born in Giles county and was 93 years old.

He graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY and served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. After the war, he graduated from Cumberland Law School, and was a pioneer in the automobile auction business. He was also on the first Tennessee Automobile Commission, and a member of the Pulaski Exchange Club. He was an investor in Sundrop Bottling Co. for many years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pulaski.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, at 2:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church with Robert Montgomery officiating.

Burial in Maplewood Cemetery

He is survived by his,

Son, Thomas David Johnson and wife Beverly of Pulaski

Two daughters, Katherine and husband John Lee of California, and, Anne J. Ruark of Nashville.

Six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren
