William Bell Hickerson Sr., age 92, died on Saturday.

He was born in Giles County,  retired from the Union Bank in Lynnville, he was a farmer and a lifelong entrepreneur. He served in the US Army during the Korean conflict, was a member of the Lynnville Church of Christ and a member of the American Legion. 

He is survived by his two sons, Donny Hickerson and wife Debbie of Lynnville, and Bill Hickerson of Jackson, TN; three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.  The funeral service, also at Carr and Erwin, on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m with burial in Lynnwood Cemetery.
